The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA), a Crown corporation responsible for security screening at airports across Canada, has an exciting permanent opportunity within the Service Delivery team in the Prairies region.
A key member of the team at the Edmonton International Airport, the Team Leader, Screening Performance is responsible for the functional administration of the Performance Data Collectors and to assist with ensuring the program objectives are achieved on a consistent and efficient basis.
The main responsibilities include: performing functional supervision of staff within the Regional Screening Performance team including coordination of shift schedules, leaves and overtime; ensuring quality assurance of all information collected, entered and disseminated from the Regional Screening Performance team in accordance with Data Collection Methodology; and ensuring procedural compliance to CASTA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operational Bulletins and directives.

To qualify for the position, you must have:
•Post-secondary education in Quality Control, Logistics, Law Enforcement or another speciality relevant to the duties of the position;
•A minimum of two (2) years of experience conducting inspections or monitoring in a highly regulated environment where compliance to operating standards and procedures is critical;
•A minimum of one (1) year of experience in functional supervision of a team;
•A minimum of one (1) year of experience writing reports and giving recommendations to management.
•Language requirement is English Essential.
