WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a Room Inspector to join our Housekeeping Team here at the Renaissance!
This position is a permanent-full time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and pays $20 an hour.
POSITION PROFILE
The Rooms Inspector is responsible for the execution of special cleaning projects and providing support to the Style Management team. The Rooms Inspector is a key contributor to the success of the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. They should be able to work in any area as required by their supervisor to ensure maximum productivity and so that cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Style Supervisors with daily duties such as room inspections, room assignments and other shift duties.
Responsible for auditing guest rooms to maintain the cleanliness standards set by management.
Assist the Executive Stylist with:
- B.S.A. daily preparation of rooms and public spaces.
- Managing (weekly and quarterly) room supplies inventory.
- Overseeing quarterly special projects: carpet cleaning, mattress rotation, detailed rooms cleaning etc.
Participate in the daily operations of the department as needed including; room preparation prior to cleaning, cleaning rooms, cleaning common areas, maintaining inventory and supplies, laundry duties and taking care of in-house guest requests.
Act as a coordinator between; Style, Reception and Engineering to ensure that rooms are prepared for arrivals.
Communicate with Engineering to ensure all maintenance issues are reported and followed up to completion.
Assist the Executive Stylist with the training and development of the Stylists.
Perform various duties pertaining to departmental inventory control system: purchase orders, Storage rooms controls
Must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
Ensure safety and security of the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel, its’ Discoverers and Ambassadors at all times.
Provide administrative support to all areas of the Style department.
Other duties as assigned.
