WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Ready to be the ultimate hotel hero? We're on the lookout for an energetic, upbeat Bell Person to join our Front Office team! As our official "bellhop," you'll be the friendly face that carries guests' luggage (and stress!) with a smile, making their day a little lighter—literally.
This position is a permanent full time hourly position with a wage of $16.25 and a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bell Person, you’ll be the first and last smile our guests see, making their arrival and departure an unforgettable experience. You’ll be more than just a greeter—you’ll glide through the hotel with ease, even while juggling multiple suitcases, and you'll always be ready to offer a friendly tip about the best spots to See, Sip, Savour, and Shop in our local area.
Here are some other things you would be responsible for:
• Guide and inform: Provide guests with helpful information about hotel amenities and services, ensuring they get the most out of their stay.
• Room expert: Show guests the ins and outs of their room, from mastering their keycard to discovering the minibar and locating ice and vending areas.
• Luggage superstar: Transport guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas, assist with luggage storage and retrieval, and lend a hand with loading/unloading luggage from vehicles.
• Parking pro: Communicate parking procedures to guests and help ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Guest care: Anticipate and address guest needs with genuine appreciation, assist individuals with disabilities, and always communicate in a clear, professional manner.
• Safety and security: Follow all company policies, report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management, and maintain awareness of any undesirable persons on the property.
• Polished professional: Maintain a clean, professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Team player: Build positive relationships with your teammates, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests and coworkers alike.
• Stay active: Be ready to stand, sit, walk, and move—lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Go the extra mile: Perform additional job duties as requested by Supervisors, always with a positive and can-do attitude!
