Tenant Relations Coordinator (Term)
Description
As the Tenant Relations Coordinator, you would be accountable for senior level coordination and support within the Airside Operations Team. The position is also directly accountable for assisting in key service areas within the Airport Operations, Tenant Relations functions and leasing support at ZVL. Enhances the effectiveness of the Airport Operations functionality through direct support in the organizing and coordinating of key tenant relations and leasing function activities at ZVL. This position is focused on providing onsite Tenant Relations functions aimed at the Airports Strategic Vision. This position reports directly to the Director, Aerodrome Operations & Compliance with a dotted line to EIA Corporate Real Estate providing ZVL Owners and Tenants information, direction and responding to inquiries on real estate matters. It also supports the core Airport maintenance programs in accordance with Transport Canada Standards and applicable site regulations and provides onsite Tenant Relations functions aimed at the Airports Strategic Vision.
• Provide input to the Airport Operation plans and directions and ensure on-going appropriate relationships with other positions.
• Liaise and coordinate with tenants, owners and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations, procedures and processes for day to day tenant, owner and airport activities. Provide input for improvement on existing processes and procedures.
• Assist in development of operational policies.
• Ensure Airport Operations programs and plans are implemented in accordance to established guidelines.
• Provide support to both the Manager, Airside Operations and Manager, Properties & Leasing for budget and business planning processes, ensuring key Airside Operations, ZVL related data is provided to support initiatives.
• Assist in the development of employees including training and mentorship support.
• Provide direct input and assist in the planning and execution of short and long-term projects that assist the Operations function in achieving SBU targets.
• Provide input into the planning and development of Capital Planning for ZVL Airside Operations and Real Estate Development.
• Provide support and direction for ZVL Airside Operations contractors through participation in meetings, understanding of policies and procedure documents.
• Demonstrate a high performance, high discipline, safe, accountable, focused, innovative and achievement-oriented, easy to do business with manner of working.
• Support both winter and summer operations by operating required equipment required for maintenance duties.
• Provide support to maintenance activates and coordinate with maintenance professionals where required.
• Provide onsite support to the Tenants and owners for lease inquiries and daily property management items.
• Ensuring compliance with current contractual obligations, reconciliation of accounts and maintaining updated lease inventory
• Facilitation and support of new real estate development by responding to inquiries from interested parties and potential tenants. Working closely with the both legal counsel and the leasing team in lease and licence preparation and agreement negotiations.
Special Requirements
• Post-secondary diploma in business, real estate, property management; along with 3 years’ related experience is required; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Real Estate and leasing knowledge and an asset
• Airport real estate, leasing or property management knowledge and understanding
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Customer Service experience
• Strong analytical, organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prepare statistical analysis reports, experience implementing budget
• Strong organizational skills and program implementation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines while adapting to change
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and accountable; demonstrating a willingness to contribute to team efforts in a positive manner.
• Must secure and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and acceptable criminal records check.
