WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Are you a natural leader who brings energy, organization, and genuine care to every shift? The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel is on the hunt for an Assistant Rooms Division Manager to join our Style & Reception Team!
You’ll partner with the Rooms Division Manager to keep our Front Office and Housekeeping teams running smoothly—setting the tone for service, creating great guest moments, and keeping every detail on point. If you love a challenge, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know how to motivate a team, this role’s for you.
This is a permanent full-time, salaried position (minimum 40 hours per week) paying $60,000 a year with a 10% bonus.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As our Assistant Rooms Division Manager, you’ll be right in the middle of the action—keeping things running smoothly, leading your team with confidence, and helping create the kind of guest experience people rave about.
• Lead the Team – Support, schedule, and motivate ambassadors in Front Office and Housekeeping; keep everyone aligned, engaged, and ready to shine.
• Keep It Flawless – Make sure rooms and public spaces always look their best through regular inspections and teamwork with Engineering.
• Own the Numbers – Help hit GSS, BSA, and financial goals by managing labor, costs, and daily operations like a pro.
• Train & Grow – Be hands-on in onboarding and ongoing training, making sure your team feels confident and connected.
• Handle the Moments – Jump in with grace when guests need help or service recovery; turn challenges into wins.
• Stay Sharp – Keep tabs on room inventory, purchasing, and supplies, and always keep safety and brand standards top of mind.
• Be Flexible – Cover different shifts and adapt to whatever the day brings—you’re the kind of leader who gets it done.
Special Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Education & Experience
• 2+ years of hotel management experience plus post-secondary education in Hotel Management, OR
• 4+ years of management experience in a full-service hotel
Skills & Knowledge
• Confident, approachable leadership style
• Clear, upbeat communication with guests and teammates
• Solid grasp of P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong organizational skills and a knack for problem-solving
• Commitment to keeping standards high and service even higher
